Mr Tan is currently the Portfolio Director for EPC, where he manages the logistics fund for EPC.
Mr. Tan is a former senior banker with 20 years of diverse experience in the finance industry in Asia. He was most recently the Chief Investment Officer of Sesami Capital Match, a Fintec company in Singapore. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank and Royal Bank of Canada, managing Ultra High Networth clients and family offices in Asia. He was also an investment banker at UBS and Rothschild for several years, heading up capital markets teams covering the Asian region.
Mr. Tan is a qualified Singapore lawyer, and started his career in Allen & Gledhill, Singapore’s premier corporate law firm. During his 7-year career as a finance lawyer, he also worked at Linklaters (a top global law firm) in Hong Kong and as Regional Legal Counsel at Deutsche Bank in Singapore.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honours degree in Law and was called to the Singapore bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Mr Lai Zehan (“Zehan“) is the Portfolio Director for Elite Trafford Global Equity Fund and is responsible for the management of the portfolio. He has been in the investment management industry for the past 9 years, with experience spanning across multiple asset classes including listed equities, private equity and venture capital.
Prior to joining Elite Partners Capital, Zehan was a portfolio manager with Trafford Asia Investments Pte Ltd, a Singapore based single family office with a strong Vietnam focus. Concurrently, he served as CFO for one of the family office’s largest private investment, a leading Vietnam-based technology company with more than US$100m in annual sales.
Zehan was also an Associate Director of Investments (Transportation & Logistics) at Temasek, an investment company owned by the government of Singapore. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for a number of entities, including the Splendid China Fund (CIMA regulated) and Autoportal Holdings (Singapore).
Zehan graduated with First Class Honours in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He also holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
Ms Leng has over 12 years of experience in investor relations, accounting, audit and assurance and internal audit.
Prior to joining EPC, Ms Leng was the Investor Relations Manager of Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited, the manager of Ascott Residence Trust, where her responsibilities included facilitating clear and timely communications and building relations with the investment community. Prior to that, Ms Leng led the Investor Relations function for another company focused in the Real Estate Sector.
Ms Leng holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is a Charted Accountant (Singapore).
Mr Edmunds has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, focusing on real estate investment and management across various sectors globally, and capital raising.
Prior to joining EPC, Mr Edmunds was the Director of the Real Estate department of AEP Investment Management Pte. Ltd. (“AEPim”), a Singapore-based investment management company specialising in cross-border real estate investment. At AEPim, he was responsible for the strategic investment and transaction management for AEPim’s U.K., Australia and Singapore mandates. He was also a lead manager of Basil Property Trust, a global office investment fund with assets in Singapore, Australia and the U.K., and was responsible for investments, fund acquisitions and structuring. Prior to that, Mr Edmunds held senior real estate positions with companies focused in the Real Estate Sector.
Mr Edmunds graduated from University of the West of England with a BA (Hons) Business Studies. He also holds a Master of Arts in Property Valuation and Law from The City University located in London, U.K..
Mr Cheah has over 11 years of experience in finance and investments.
Prior to joining EPC, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance of Eagle Hospitality REIT Management Pte. Ltd., the manager of Eagle Hospitality Trust, where he was responsible for the oversight of the preparation of statutory accounts, co-ordination with external auditors, managing tax affairs and treasury matters, and the preparation of performance reports for investors and regulators. Prior to that, Mr Cheah held senior finance positions with companies focused in the Real Estate Sector.
Mr Cheah holds a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Master of Science (Real Estate) from National University of Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Ms. Jessie Tran has accumulated a diverse range of real estate experience covering property valuation, development, investment and asset management.
Before joining Elite, Jessie assisted the Head of Investment at Keppel REIT in deals origination, underwriting and other investment-related functions. She previously worked at Viva Industrial Trust shortly after its listing, where she played a significant role in the successful acquisition of several industrial properties with a combined valuation exceeding S$300 million. She was also involved in the REIT’s asset management and portfolio management functions.
Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
Ms Wang has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, financial management and investments.
Prior to joining EPC, Ms Wang was the Head of Projects at Sime Darby Real Estate Management Pte. Ltd., where she was responsible for investments and development opportunities for the Sime Darby Property private fund. Prior to that, Ms Wang held senior positions with companies focused in the Energy, Shipping and Real Estate.
Ms Wang holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Guelph, Canada and a Master of Arts in International Financial Analysis from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K..
A portfolio manager with numerous successful exits under her belt, Emily’s extensive business advisory activities cover strategic alliances and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (“M&As”).
Over her 18-year career, Emily designed and launched numerous private equity funds in Asia and raised capital for high-growth companies. She was most recently a Principal and Head of Investor Relations at private equity firm Tembusu Partners, where she handled pan-Asian education and technology investments and oversaw the firm’s largest exit by value and returns.
A graduate of the University of Singapore, Emily is a member of the CFA Institute of Singapore and the Management Committee of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore.
